Software to play .dav File type(CCTY)

HI
Got a CCTV system that backs up data in .dav format.
I have tried few free software that plays .dav files but they only shows 1 channel!(Have 8 channels)
Does any one know of a (free) software that can play .dav file types with more than 1 channels?

Yep tried VLC but it would not open the file.
I also came across that link you mentioned, but that is the one which shows only 1 channel(cam 1)

EDIT:
Second link in the page (ver. 1.9.1.2 (with manual)) installs some malware as well so dont try it!
