I use the HWmonitor program that gives me min and max temps. I could do with something that shows them while in games.

Saw someone using MSI Afterburner, but i dont have a MSI card so im not sure how accurate that software will be. Anyone use a decent one?

You can use MSI Afterburner to OC none-MSI cards so there is no reason to suggest it will be inaccurate. Besides, GPUs can take so much heat these days, a few degrees C either side wont make any odds.

If you're really worried just run Afterburner along side HWm - you will see if there is any discrepancy.

+1 for afterburner, use it on my current xfx cards, also worked on a pny 8800gt and a bfg 8800gts i had, temps across theese cards matched afterburners readings using other apps, such as evga's precision or gpu-z.

also use msi afterburner and core temp.
also have gpu-z and hw monitor, speedfan, riva tuner, ati tools, etc...
guess i like to tinker :p
