Software to unerase a CDRW?

I've stupidly (well, I blame the pc but anyway...) managed to quick-erase a CDRW which I shouldn't have done. For some reason, even though Nero reckoned the RW had something on it, windows reckoned it was blank. I initially dismissed this as probably a glitch or something, so proceeded to erase it, then when it had finished I remembered a similar problem I had a while ago where Windows wouldn't show what a newly inserted CD had on it unless I restarted Windows!
So, my question is, is there any software about that will allow me to unerase the RW? Or even just see what was on the RW, not necessarliy recover stuff, just so I can see what was deleted and if it was important.
I've tried a few programs without success, most didn't even see the drive or disc. I tried Badcopy and it knew there was something on the CD but couldn't show me what it was. Testdisk reckons it's possible in Linux but unfortunately that's not an option for me as I don't have Linux.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! :D

Cheers

Afew years ago I was at a m8's house , he was having trouble with a CD writer .He had bought a new one and wanted me to install it .I did this and put on Nero . He wanted to try it out and put a CD in that had data wrote on from the previous writer .He used Nero to put one picture onto the disk and guess what ?? . It had over written the files ,his wife pointed out that they were pictures from their holiday in the states .........the only ones .The disk only showed the one picture .I took it away saying I'll try out this software I had . I used Bad Copy . It brought back all the pictures from their American holiday . So ,it's definetly worth a try ,there's lots of recovery programs , Get back data , CD roller , Bad copy .etc etc . At least give one a try out .

Cheers, tried everything I could find but it looks like my only option is to install Linux and try. One program in particular says it's possible with the Linux version of this program. Seems a bit drastic just to try to unerase a cdrw though! :)
