Software to unlock mobile phone?

If this isn't allowed then pls simply delete. As far as i'm aware its not illegal or wrong in any way

I have a Sony Ericsson S700i locked to Vodafone. My contract's finished & i'm wanting to sell it, or maybe even keep it & use Orange. So, how do I unlock it? I have a data cable but have no idea what to do next, i've googled for ages.

There's a shop in town which unlock all phones for £10 with a simple bit of software (I guess) but they wont tell me what (obviosly they want my custom) :confused:

The only software I have come accross that will unlock a mobile for you is something called BLAZER. Dear tho.

If you do get something to unlock it remember not to change the IMEI number - you can get serious grief for that.
