Software to update song metadata?

Loads of the music in my library has no metadata (at one point it had to all be restored from a Creative player, due to a disk failure, and it screwed up the data) and I'd like get it in there somehow.

Can anyone recommend any software to me? I've found Tuneup, which looks pretty good. Does anyone know of any free options?

Tuneup was the best I found, it did a really good job of my music library.

I was going to purchase that tuneup as it seems a good piece of software until I seen this blog post on their website:

I personally use Jaikoz always worked well and it uses the MusicBrainz service.

Why is that bad? Shows they're nice people, doesn't it?

Well put it this way; why should I pay for software that they are willing to reward pirates with? The guy on that video has tons of others on his youtube page showing how to get expensive mac apps for free. If more people bought the software then it may reduce the price and help the developer improve the software. If you like it buy it.

Surely if the developer doesn't have an issue then you shouldn't have an issue with it?
