soildworks 07

ok using solidworks 07 atm and made a model but the file size is like 18mb for some reason, is there anyway i can make this smaller?

18meg is small, I've had file sizes well in excess of 100meg. Could try saving as an iges files but realisitically solidworks file sizes don't compress too well.
