Solar panel production figures

Wouldn’t this thread be better is the posts were total generated vs install capacity?

Ie 12400w of panels generated 30000w today?

Ie 2400w of panels generated 9000w

If people fancy the maths - watts per panel-watts (panel watts / watts generated).

Yes would be lot more meaningful.

I generated 400% of max pv array

Tried that 22,725 posts ago, didn't happen.

I could add an efficiency rating to my daily stats quite easily though. Divide your generation in kWh by system size in kW gives efficency in kWh per kW

I did wonder if it had been mentioned - currently doesn’t pose a whole load of use outside some bragging rights!

I’m trying to have a stab at how far over spec I should go with each string and knowing roughly what people are getting from their panel would be insightful!

Another excellent day.

SolarEdge: 24.6 kWh
Garage: 21.68 kWh
North west roof: 21 kWh
House rear wall: 7.27 kWh
Peak power was 10.31 kW at 13:44

Total generated yesterday: 74.55 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 78 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 31.31 kWh
 
You can see them on PV Output, well for some people.

It does make interesting reading, but surprise, surprise it’s the south facing panels that are high, I have seen them over 6 times kWp.

I need to edit the code that generates the report, funnily enough most the time between my two posts I was in bed.

It will be when I get around to it, and that will also require me remembering ;)
