Solar panel production figures

A good day yesterday to finish the month off.

SolarEdge: 4.8 kWh
Garage: 4.18 kWh
North west roof: 3.29 kWh
House rear wall: 1.57 kWh
Peak power was 6.62 kW at 11:19

Total generated yesterday: 13.84 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 10.12 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 33.58 kWh

This January we generated 297 kWh compared to 291.6 kWh last January.

PS 179 kWh exported, which really surprised me, given we have a heat pump.

8.1 yesterday.

126kwh for Jan which is down on 141 on 2025 and 120 in 2024 which was only 21 days!

It looks like Solis have made an API change which has broken the HA integration so PV output isn’t updating, I’ll switch it to GivEnergy when I get a few mins.

Today is looking rough and Mrs Sk8 is on her second round of baking for the day, ‘marginal on battery’ was putting it lightly.

It was looking like an expensive day so I plugged in the car at 12:45, got an immediate OI slot to 13:30 and I’m back up to 98% battery.

That’s why we call a small win for the day and I’ll also get some freshly baked cookies shortly as a bonus.

It was a rotten month here too. Generation was 221.2kWh for January compared to the PVGIS prediction of 293.7kWh.

Import was 1280.9kWh for the month, with 1271.4kWh at the off-peak rate for an average cost of 6.2p/kWh. The heat pump used 654.6kWh in total, costing £41.36 to run for the month compared to the gas bill of £116.75 in 2025.

Export was 158.3kWh making our total electricity cost for the month £71.81 including standing charge and EV charging. This compares to £129.84 in 2025 when we had a gas boiler.
