As the title says I sold my ps3 I recently got bfbc2 got stuck in to learn how to play pc fps going back to ps3 cod felt stiff and wierd to play anyone else made the move or felt the same.

No because there's so many excellent games that aren't available on the PC.

Owning all platforms is the only way to enjoy everything gaming has to offer. Whenever i sell off a console i always regret it in the end as games i want to play are released. The perfect example of this is the Wii, i kept telling myself i should sell it as it spent over a year in a bag, then one day Xenoblade Chronicles surfaces which is the best JRPG i've played in years.

i done the same thing last year? sold my ps3 to concentrate more on pc gaming, but bought a new ps3 in january for final fantasy and gran turismo, totally agree with what Streeteh says, although i barely play the ps3 anymore, it's main use now is for BD's lol

Exactly this really, I own both consoles and a gaming pc, most of my gaming is done on the pc at the moment but I play gears of war on my xbox and will pick up uncharted 3 for my playstation, I understand not everyone has the money to own all platforms but I find it more trouble to sell and swap between formats than to just save some money up to buy them all.

because at the end of the day its the only console you can play Gran Turismo on.

Whilst streaming network video, whilst streaming rentals from love film, whilst playing blu rays, whilst playing PSN store exclusives like wipeout HD.

Theres plenty more to the PS3 than bad company2. Yes you can have a blu ray player separately and yes you can a lot of the games elsewhere.

But as an all in media package. Its great even if you never even touch the games.

Yeah, Not used my ps3 for gaming for some time, But uncharted 3 and new ass creed are coming out (I like ass creed on my tv and controller) So looking forward to them.

I very rarely use my PS3 for games, but I would have to buy a blu ray player if I sold it and that would take up most of the cash I would get for selling it, I wouldn't like to miss out on a couple of exclusives too, the majority of PS3 exclusives are crap but I loved uncharted 2 and the parts of GoW3 that actually worked on my PS3,

I prefer forza by a mile

My 360 does streaming better than my PS3, I can stream much more from the zune marketplace and in my opinion the exclusives on xbla are far superior to the PSN alternatives

Go away.

This isn't a PS3 vs 360 thread.

He sold his PS3 and sighted the reason as preferring playing BC2 on PC. If anything is a console vs PC thread. Take your trolling elsewhere.

I can't see the point in selling a console because you didn't like COD on it. If all you play is COD and BF then I question why you bought a console in the first place, there are so many great exculsives on the PS3 you're just missing out. Of course if you sold it because you needed the money then that's a different matter.

(Own both) On a UK 360 you can't access Netflix, on a UK PS3 it's perfectly easy and gives a fantastic streaming service.

I sold mine the other week as well. I just wasn't using it at all. The last game I bought for it was Infamous 2.
I could have waited til after Uncharted 3 to sell it but my bro owns a PS3 so i'll play it on his.

and playing BC2 has nothing to do with streaming movies either :D

FPS games are better on PC imo. I played FPS games for years on a PC and they are much more suited to the keyboard and mouse but having said that...I cannot afford to pay hundreds of pounds upgrading my PC to be able to play BF3 (for example) to its full capability so I will be getting to on PS3.

Even though I think FPS games are better suited to PC this would never result in me selling my PS3! It does far more things than run shooters.

I'd never sell mine, I go through phases of months at a time of not playing any games on it but it's used most days for video/DVD/Blu-ray, and it does the job brilliantly.

It's still incredibly, incredibly hard to justify owning a Wii.
