I hope i have made the right choice i just fancy a change and trying some PS5 exclusive. I have never been the ne to have more than one console so that wouldn't be a option.

Hope i wont be disappointed graphic wise etc

My Console History has been PS1, PS2, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 Pro and now an Xbox Series X (Only Recently)

I never really jelled with the “Vibe” of PlayStation after fond memories of Xbox 360 and mainly Xbox One.

I can’t believe how popular Sony’s PlayStation is over Xbox!

The experience will be much of the same, different controller and UI but generally the same I’d have thought, suppose it’s a matter of personal preference with both Consoles being so evenly matched.

If you already have a decent PC good choice I'd say at this point.

I sold my Series X and S and went all out on PC due to most games either being in parity with the console version as well as having cross play functionality (F1/EAFC/COD) or being on game pass on both Xbox/PC so I'm still in the Xbox ecosystem without the console.

Once GTA 6 drops I'll get a playstation 5/pro as well :)

Dude he's asking about getting a PS5. He probably doesn't care how big your PCs knob is.

No need for that response, I was replying with the idea, that he may also have a decent PC so he's not missing out on the Xbox ecosystem with the switch to the PS5 in such a scenario. Just using my own experience as an example, it seemed he already made the switch, not thinking about it.

Read my sig sir. I may have misread a certain post @stupid o'clock,so I'll apologise for that.

I’ve constantly flip flopped between consoles.
Had a PS5 at launch, sold it, got the XSX and then recently re-bought a PS5.
I’ve kept both the XSX and PS5 for now but the PS5 will be my main console.
I really like GamePass, amazing value for all the games that are there, but I find PS5 exclusives a lot better.
Recently upgraded to PS Plus Extra and there are some good exclusives there to play (Death Stranding, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima) just you don’t always get the latest and greatest like GamePass.
The controller is a lot better on PS5 (personal preference) with gimmicks like the touch pad and adaptive triggers but the battery life is nowhere near as good as XSX due to above features.
Just my 2 pence :)

I personally think the analogues on the PlayStation controllers have always been much inferior to the competition. Although the Dualshock 4 is a massive improvement. Still, there is a definite deadzone problem with said controllers. The touch pad and mic are cool features but they never get used,a waste really.

True I don’t use the touch pad much on my PS5. Come to think of it.. I wonder what it does in the current game I am playing.

I do like the speaker on the PS5 controller. Used very well in some games.

Yeah the speaker is cool. The Wii speaker is cool as well they're just underutilized. On my Wii-U the audio comes out of the Hi-FI speakers and the Wii-U controller at the same time creating a sort of surround sound. That could be something cool they could do in games.
