After one happy year of ownership, last night I parted ways with my '09 GT-R. I really couldn't think of anything better to replace it than this!

It's a brand new '13 (US) Premium GT-R in pearl white. Managed to snap a couple of quick pics as I was heading out of the door this morning but I'll get some proper ones up after this weekend.

Thus far, it's a lot more comfy than my '09, softer sprung and the seats appear more cushioned too. Other than that though, it's basically the same just more refined, better built and a little faster at 545hp, up from 485hp. I'll have the exhaust changed out next week but that will be it for the moment I think.

Oh and the license plate will be changed, Redzila doesn't really work with this one sadly. Not entirely sure what I'm going to get yet though.

Those houses and gardens remind me of when I lived in Philippines. :p

Anything in particular make you sell the old one? :)

Enjoy - the colour is quite interesting when the sun hits it, seen one on detailing world the other day, nice. ;)

No real reason, just circumstances allowed for it so I decided to grab a new one. I do like the improvements they've made, even if they're mostly small.

The neighbourhood looks lovely too!

It's a lovely neighbourhood, it's actually on the beach, the front of the house looks straight out onto the water.

Nice car, I wish I could lose the front plate from mine!

Going from an 09 you should find the gearbox is way better with the latest software, the shifting at low speeds around town is so smooth and the launch is brutal.

I just put a GTC 'Resonated' Y-Pipe on and it has made the car sound a little louder.

What full exhaust are you going to get?

I already had my '09 flashed with LC5 so there's not really any difference, apart from it feeling a little tighter but yes, LC5 makes the world of difference over LC2. I flashed back the night before I sold it and god it was awful!

I'm just putting the resonated CBRD midpipe back on my new one. I love the sound of the CBRD and it's one of the highest quality midpipes available. Luckily I got it used with 500 miles on it for half price!

Yes it was with the Cobb Accessport. It's actually for sale if you we're interested.

I'll break the car in pretty quick as I do about 300 miles a week anyway.

I was torn between the white or blue but here the white is much rarer and fetches a fair bit more money too, so when the deal came to where I liked it, I jumped on it.

Anyone else think it's funny how Iceman only posts when he has a new toy to play with? :p

Anyway, nice car. Enjoy it :)

I'm a very boring person, it's the only thing I have to offer to the forum :(

Very nice, What part of florida are you in? We have a place in bradenton which is very nice :) Lovely GTR!

That house is in Clearwater Beach, right on the bay side water front.

Finally got the new plate. I couldn't fit whitezila so went for something else - I figured the most common question I get asked is "what is it?", so this may help!

Must suck if someone comes up to you and thinks you have a bodykit on a 370Z :p

Only had on person ask me what mine is and to be fair they didn't look from the front or back, just side on at the petrol pump.

Never had someone say that. It's funny though, the GT-R attracts as much attention as the Mclaren does, at least in FL - I can't stop anywhere without people taking pictures/videos or asking questions.

Nice! Redzilla not going on the boxster? or going on the 500?

It's going on the Fiat for comedy value :)

Nice plate! I would have got DA7SUNOK. :D

7 characters max I'm afraid. It's even less if you change to a different plate style unfortunately.

I dont understand why the license plate management do not cash in on this, much as the DVLA do here

They aren't seen as a big thing over here, even with the cheap prices. People don't care what year your car is here, nor do the plates indicate age anyway. First thing I was always asked in the UK by strangers was "what year is it?", whereas here, it's just "awesome/nice car!".
