Whats an ok Soldering iron to get for around £40 or £50? i want to start doing abit of Soldering and need a alright 1 with a small tip. I have a ******s by me and wanted to know if they have any good ones
• Temperature-controlled soldering station with dual line illuminated LCD digital display
• Two-line LCD readout simultaneously displays tip temperature and set point in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit
• Pushbutton up/down temperature setting
• Detachable/replaceable soldering iron
• LCD icons illustrate ''Heat On'' when iron is active, and ''Wait'' status when temperature deviates ±10 C from the set point
Buy a decent iron with wuality tips and you will have it for years to come. Make sure you get the thin solder too. The thick stuff is hopeless for precision work.
