Soldering Iron?

Can anyone recommend to me a reasonable (price and quality) soldering iron? To be used for fairly simple projects, using stripboard like this:

if you want something cheap there is a 30watt one on maplin for 5.99

avoid any gas ones they are too powerfull

its really nice , but might be outside your budget if you are just messing about

I repair stuff for a living so I need something of reasonable quality

Thanks - so what do I need to be looking for in terms of the size/shape of the tip and the power? How much power is needed for doing something just like the picture above?

Standard pencil tip should be fine for stripboard.

I've done countless projects with a 30 watt cheapo from maplin, guitar electronics, built a theremin, replacing capacitors on pcbs, modifying consoles, appliance repairs. It's really all you need for basic stuff.
