Any one else use them? my oem engine mounts are shot and tempted to go solid as the price is 1/2 of what the OEM replacements would be only they need to come from America. Polys are also an option though crazy expensive.

Its only the weekend car so i'm not worried about loosing to much comfort.

What car is it?

Expect the vibrations to be horrible, might find the gearshift tightens up a bit though.

Thats another reason I'm looking at solids, the gearbox is crunchy as it is and any relief on that is a bonus!

Car is a GTO 3l tt V6. some of my thinking is as its a V6 the vibrations shouldn't be as noticeable as say on a 4pot.

Poly bushes would work out to be around the £4-500 mark once you factor in shipping and vat ect, the solids are £200 and i can get an unused 2nd hand set of oem's for £200.
Polys would be my preference but cant justify spending that much on a car i use half a dozen times a month or so.

Is the car heavily modified? See a lot of track work ?

If not stick with the OEMs.

Mildly, will be running 400-450 bhp in the coming months. No track mind, maybe a few runs up the strip. The issues are the transfer boxes are prone to breaking on these so any help to alleviate that is no bad thing.

Imo oe bushes then, put the rest into some new gearbox oil.

Already tried new oil, the gearbox is shafted, just waiting for it to completely die to replace it but its being stubborn.

Seems the majority are for OEM :p sensible head also agrees but where's the sense of adventure :D

Voice of reason has spoke and gone the OEM route :), i like the idea of solids and the general consensus of them in the GTO is there not to bad (sub frame is rubber mounted which helps apparently) but i wont find out until there in and then its to late, may as well just go oem for now!

Have a set of poly's on the Legnum, and it's fine. Were cheaper than new OEM ones, so bonus!

Mitsubishi can be stupid with there aftermarket prices, though in this case even if i wanted mitsu parts it would be impossible, none existent in Europe and couldn't say about Jap either!
