Solid Red Boot Light MSI B550 Mag Mortar

Hi,

I've recently noticed on my MSI B550 Mag Mortar there is a solid red boot light illuminated. I don't know how long its been illuminated to be honest i've only just noticed it. The pc boots and runs fine, i've not run into any issues what so ever. Any suggestions guys?

I wouldn't worry about it, this Tomahawk does it too. There's a new BIOS for it but I haven't been bothered to try it yet. When you reboot it'll be gone and only occur every 4th or 5th boot.

To me, it's not anything to worry about and was maybe even addressed in that BIOS I can't be bothered to load. Everything runs great.

I know that it wasn’t illuminated when I built the PC, it’s been solid red the last couple of times I’ve fired it up. Like I said I have no running problem at all, boots fine & windows operates as normal. Hopefully it’s something that just needs ironing out with these new boards.

Toggle the led switch on the motherboard then you don't need to worry about it

Perhaps try a bios update if you haven't already.
