Solid wood flooring

Are my maths off here? - Solid wood flooring costs around £20 per SQM.

My apartment is 840 SQM, of which wood flooring would be needed in main room (living & kitchen) and hallway approach to bedrooms and bathrooms. I estimate maybe 400 - 500 SQM

Is that really £10,000 just for the materials then fitting cost also £20 per SQM, so £20k+ when all the other bits like underlay is added?!

Are you sure it’s not 84 square meters! 840 is like a small warehouse.

This! My whole house is only around 180sqm from what I remember.

Are you also putting wood flooring down in the servants level?
I prefer to give them straw only

FFS don't tell him that, I was looking forward to the thread where three artics have parked up outside his 9th floor apartment wondering how they are going to get 840m^2 of flooring up there

I’ve read the lease but can’t remember reading anything in there about solid flooring / flooring in general. Will check it again though
