Looking for some inspiration for a solo holiday in December. I’m comfortable with solo travel but struggling to come up with any destinations.
Requirements - some nightlife, great food, relatively warm, hopefully other solo travellers, I like modern history, cars, being in nature but close to civilisation for nightlife. Need a nice spa hotel for at least one night otherwise I’m happy with hostels/airbnbs/premier inn type of hotels.
Budget is pretty flexible.
Can take two weeks so distance isn’t too much of an issue.
I’ve been everywhere in Europe, and been to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, India, China, Malaysia, Mexico, Canada, US, Morocco, UAE, Oman, Jordan.
I’m thinking Caribbean but not sure if it’ll be a bit rubbish on my own. I would have actually went to Israel if it wasn’t for the war!
I really want to go to South Africa, Costa Rica and Argentina but feel the first two would be better with someone.
I don’t really fancy Australia but maybe I’m being unfair to it…
Parts of Africa appeal, but again, single travel I’m not sure of. Should I just go back to Vietnam?…
