still have lots of grinding and cleaning up to do but its snowing and its cold so it can wait till later, remember its a working progress

You might want to check out the SFF sticky.. there's a user there with an almost identical mod :);)

I like the Artic cooler idea but the fans need a small mesh grille to be worth it IMHO.

Out of interest what did you use to cut it all out?

Would like a nice little SFF case but shuttles are too expensive for me. might do a mATX or barebones when conroe comes out (cash allowing :( )

Nice work so far, how's it going now? and whats the overall plan?

ordered my mesh grill and trim today should arrive tommorrow, EVH i no m8 thats where i got the idea from just loved going to calis mod that i needed to do it myself, i am using a dremel for all the work i got it from argos for about £50 and have used it on 6 cases so far and i will never go for a cheap version again did both section on the soltek with one normal cutting disc u cant do that on steel coz it would just knacker up the disc in seconds, as for the overall plan when i manage to get the trim and mesh fitted am seeing a bud who spray paints bmws and a local dealer to see what he can do with this one (he spray painted a lian li case yellow for me couple years ago)

Keep some piccies of the step by step process coz its one of the better mods :)

.. I might have a go at a simular one sometime soon

im hopin to do a similar thing to my shuttle fo rhte arctic cooler. im tired of the big as hole/window ive had for god knows how long. the small cut out for hte cooler just looks really smart :)

nice job, bet your temps are nice and cool with them 2 120's in

c&c welcome ordering some more trim for the edges this week i was thinking of replacing the 120gb hd for some thing bigger  :p

I like it. The paint looks a lot more yellow in the last pic compared to before?

Good work

How much was the SFF and what have you got inside? Also how are the temps?

yea the yellow is i bit wired in pics sometimes it looks like a vis jacket of a work site others its just normal yellow, i got the soltek barebones ages ago and for the rig its self it was about 150,amd64 3000 sck 754 hoping i can get a mates 3700 of him in september, i have 1gb of geil mem,120gb wd had drive, poineer 109, gainward 6800 ultra with artic cooler on, temps are dam fine now with me having 2 120mm fans blowing over the cpu and mobo and on to the back of the gpu cpu at present is 30c idle and and gpu is 35c not overclocked :p all stable not bad with it running of the original psu which is 230watt i believe but i think barebone psu differ from normal ones  :D
