I have a problem and need a solution, I am open to any other ideas too! Citrix???

We are a small company, we will have 4 users connecting from a variety of locations.

User 1 is based in an office in Leeds where the server will be hosted
User 2,3,4 are at 3 different locations around the country.

All users need to be able to run MS Office, outlook (shared calendars), MS accounting, share files, folders and printer in the office.

The machine is a Lenovo TS200 Xeon X3430 with 8GB RAM.

What is the best solution?

I was considering Small Business Server 2008 and terminal server for people to remote into. My understanding is that we would install SBS and install a second virtual server 08 R2 to solely run terminal. Is that right?

Would this work, SBS 2008 with 3 virtual copies of Win 7 on the server for people to remote desktop into?

Which would be the best way of doing it?

Is there another solution which would work better?

I checked what software we got, it is SBS 08 standard plus server 08 r2. I did not realise but we also got terminal server licences. A friend was installing it and had a problem...

Installed server 08 r2 and virtualised SBS 08 on it. Apparantly it didnt work?

1) Do we need to install SBS and then install hyper v then server 08 on it to run terminal (as we already got the licences)

2) Do we install hyper v then install sbs and server 08 onto hyper v?

3) What about security and locking down?

4) What is the minimum RAM -16GB?

Kinda need a dummies guide to installing it please :)

2. Install SBS, then run your TS from hyper v. Single 2008 TS box would do for 3-4 users.

So your saying install SBS first then hyper v then run server 08 TS on this?

Have read that this wont work or can go wrong and not the best idea

Or

install Hyper V server then SBS and server 08 TS
