Basically I want a nice pair of headphones (my sennheiser PC150 set needs replacing). Now, if I get say a nice pair of HD595 headphones...I'll need a separate mic. Now when I used to have a desk mic it wasn't very good - so has anyone got a solution to my problem? I'd love to try the 595s but a microphone is imperative

I made an elegant solution for this very problem;

:D

It does work rather well actually. I reckon they should make something like this that attaches to the headphones in a non-pernament way (sucker cup?) and has a gooseneck type boom arm with the mic on the other end. This LEGO version is fairly adjustable, but is a bit loose and rather heavy.

I was looking at those, but they're like $300 :(.

Any other suggestions? The lego thing is cool, I was thinking of getting a sennheiser mic which only has a small earpiece.

Edit: How do the HD595 compare to the PC150 sets?
