Small 25 bedroom hotel, although spread out over quite a large area (single building).

We want to put in Wifi into every room.

Phone lines all come into the foyer/reception area.
Best way to do this?

Perhaps a master ADSL router, and using Homeplug type things with wireless access points? Or wifi repeaters?

Would appreciate any insight you might have!

Look up Wireless Distribution System (WDS) - also look up Tomato and DD-WRT firmwares which add useful QoS services to cheaper consumer/soho routers (i.e. features you usually only see in expensive business routers)

Depends how big the building is and how thick the walls are.

DDWRT + chillispot would be a good option to look in to as well.

On that sort of scale, you want a managed system, don't you? Something where all the access points are controlled centrally, to adjust their range and possibly channel too.

It's well beyond the scope of anything I've done, but it sounds like you need an enterprise solution rather than the consumer stuff we'd all buy for a home environment.

Other than changing the channels of each wireless adapter so they don't over lap (leaving 3 channel gaps), i'm not too bothered about anything else!

non-overlapping channels are 1, 6, 11, as you probably know.
