As part of troubleshooting a new installation, I disabled the internal graphics through the BIOS. This has now left me with a permanently black screen with no way of remedying. I have tried plugging in external monitors to the VGA and HDMI sockets, to no avail.

I've sent a support ticket to Gigabyte, still waiting for acknowledgement on that.

I was wondering if anyone else who has this laptop could perhaps do me a huge favour and screenshot/photo all of the BIOS screens for this device, so that I can navigate to the required option blind. Hopefully, with that I should be able to re-enable the option and regain functionality of the screen.

Many thanks in advance.

So in the end this was a really easy fix (as long as you know the BIOS keys).

So, all I had to do was mash F2 until I was sure I was in BIOS then F9 and Enter to reset to Defaults and F10 and Enter to save and the screen began to work.

Since then I've upgraded the BIOS and that option that broke the screen has actually been removed.

Hi Mafriki, sorry we missed your post last week.

Glad you have resolved issue - assume support ticket is now cancelled with us?

Thanks,
