Some 27" monitor questions.

Hey, thinking of buying a 27" monitor for a gaming build I am making and wanted to ask a few things:

1. Does 1080p look good on a 27" monitor, I have heard a lot of people say it looks ok but some saying it looks bad.

2. Can you suggest me a good 27" monitor for max of around £250ish

what's your build though? your GPU might struggle with 1440p. if you want fHD, get a nice 24".
