Some advice for a build

My brother is wanting a new rig. He has the psu and gpu already and case.

Hes been looking at the i7 so basically the best board and ram for the money and of course which i7.

What will he be using it for and what is his budget?

Also, is he interested in overclocking?

Finally, what PSU, GPU and case has he gone for?

Sorry quickley posted it up lol. He currentley has a corsair 750 watt psu. Has a nice coolmasters case hes had for a couple of years.

Erh talking 500 notes. Probley stretch a little if there is a major advantage.

This board, this CPU and this RAM would be my suggestion.

Edit: Beaten by Mr Krugga. The RAM he picked is not quite as fast, but the cost saving is well worth it (anyway X58 has more than enough memory bandwidth as it is).

Also, this cooler and this fan for some overclocking fun.

Oh, i'd suggest going for this RAM again now the price has been dropped (just be quick, it says there are only 11 left at this price). Only a few pence more than the Kingston stuff and a bit faster.

My housemate has some Patriot Vipers, they're really good. And they look freaking awesome.
