hi this is my first post on this forum, i have been watching it for a while and i hope i am posting this in the right place/right format.

I am going to attempt to build a system to take to university with me, it will be used for a bit of cad but mostly gaming.

I have chosen these components but i am unsure of which case to chose and if i would need any additional parts such as fans/cables.

Any feedback/advice would be greatly appriciated.

Many thanks

the motherboard and cpu are overpriced, and the triple channel memeory is for socket 1366 motherboards.

and you need a psu?

just knocked this up for you.

its the same price as what you have listed above, has a bigger monitor, psu with enough pci-e cables for sli GTX460 graphics cards.

and the triple channel memory matchs the motherboard and cpu.

just pick a case and operating system
