some advice please, regards laptop spec

ok folks, i dont often deal with laptops but my mum needs a new one. Shes not a hardcore pc user however she spends a lot of time doing photography, she uses photoshop however is very novice with it at the moment, but i feel the spc machine she has at the moment is making it very difficult for her as its around 6 years old.

Dell, Hp, Compaq prefered..

But for PS, anything with 4GB RAM should do. Only concern would be does she require the screen to be large?

aiming for around the £600 mark max ideally.. i was looking at the dell 15r's with the i5 chipset, they are £599, refurbed, but not 100% , as for screen size 15.6 should be fine , she has a 22 inch monitor if needs be,.
