hi i have a amd fx 53 (940) socket with the gigabyte 940 mobo and a 6800 gt apg graphics card , 1 gb corsier mem , what are my upgrade options , can i get a dual prosessor board ? or a board with sil with a 940 pin config? or if not , how can i get more performance from the comp? thanks

there is unfortunatly very little room for upgrade there... you've pretty much got the best of what that era had to offer... any upgrage would have to be Mobo, Proc., Gfx and Ram, so pretty much a whole new system
only thing I can suggest, to make transition easyer, would be to get one of the Asrock mother boards, with AGP and Pcix slots so you can upgrade your proc. now and your graphics card later
