Heya,
I was looking into getting some speakers for mainly PC use (games, movies) and maybe for TV use down the line. I was looking at PC speakers first of and the logitech Z-5500 5.1 set, but I am looking to spend maybe maximum, about £300 and from ive seen it may be owrth buy some proper bookshelf speakers for this. I have been reading for a while about all this stuff and im still not that confident about most of it, so hopefully someone would clear some things up for me and any other advice would be appreciated.
- I was looking to get a 2.1 setup, but Im unsure if i need a sub with certain types of speakers?
- Is there any defining value I should be looking at between speakers, as the only thing ive got to go on atm is names like, B&W etc.
- Would such a setup with 2 bookshelf speakers and a sub be worth it for PC gaming and film use and is there anything extra i would need to connect such speakers to the PC?
Cheers guys.
