I am looking to get the next Elder Scrolls game (Skyrim) on the PC instead of 360 this time round but haven't built a PC since Half Life 2 days....I am in dire need of some help.

Money may be an issue so I'd prefer to keep costs down as much as possible, and I understand that the requirements aren't announced for Skyrim yet but thought I may be able to get a ballpark figure. Could someone help me spec a pc for it? It would be from the ground up, I'll need every part including case, psu etc.. Thanks guys :)

Ok thanks very much for your fast replies! I may get one now, it depends what kind of £££ i can get my hands on, but maybe it would be better to wait as you say. I will have to see :)

So if i wanted something that was really quick i'd be looking at around £1k+ then :P thanks very much for your help! :)

Thats amazing...I must have it! haha.

Is ATI the way to go these days GPU wise then? I remember my old X800 (yes it was that long ago!!) wasn't amazing due to driver issues?

Is there honestly much difference in it? I can see spec-wise ATI looks better on paper, but obviously that means nothing...

I think it will come down to pricing at the end of the day :P

awesome, I'm loving that £1.1k build there haha. Nice monitor too :)

I think i'll stick an Nvidia in it then as I prefer them in my past experience, back in the XFX Nvidia days, 6800LE hahaha :)
