Have a Evga 680 sli board.

Cant seem to get to boot from floppy to update bios to p21.

I've never used a non asus board before and am struggling with set ups.. and even the simplist tasks. lol

INSTRUCTIONS: Mainboard BIOS updates can be accomplished through the following.

FLOPPY (Floppy Disk and Disk Drive Required)
Download the following executable: NF68_P21.exe
Insert blank floppy disk into drive and run executable
Restart machine, and set floppy as the primary boot device
After flash, power off PC completely, on reboot load defaults in BIOS

So you just stick a blank, formatted floppy in the 3.5" drive and run the file you downloaded.

It will make you a boot disk.

Or are you having trouble setting the boot priority?

If so then you need to go to the BIOS and find;

Advanced BIOS features>Removable Device Priority>1.Floppy Disks (which it should be anyway)

Then reboot and it will flash for you.

When it finishes, remove the floppy and reboot the machine.

It should be easy.
