We just changed the keyboard for a wireless one, but now the Delete button wont work to get into the bios. only works when i plug in the wired one.

The keyboard works fine in windows.
Anyone got any idea to why this is, and how i can fix it ?

Cheers.

I had this problem this very week with a wireless logitech keyboard. I think it may depend on the BIOS of the machine too, as I've had some work fine with USB wireless keyboards too. If there is an option to use PS/2 port instead of USB on the keyboard, you can try that. I know one of mine has connectors for both.

PS Mark can you update my trust pretty please :-)

Hi mate,

Yes i sort that out soon mate, i have few to sort out, just my minds been else where and been busy bee.

See if there is another connector then, and try that.

The other thing you can try, which was touched upon above, is get into the BIOS with a corded keyboard and set any options like 'USB legacy support' and 'enable usb keyboard' to enabled or on, and try again with the wireless one.

The board is a ABIT IP35 Pro XE.
Tried most things in the USB device settings, with no affect.
I have the same key board, but works fine with my Asus P6T DELUVE V2.

Oh well, he will just have to use the old keyboard when he wants to go into the bios :D

Cheers anyway.

P.s, trust updated mate :p
