My grandads cousin used to be his saxophone player too, Ron Aspery.
He used to play in a band, he was also the saxophist on the Long Good Friday intro music I believe.

Reporter - It must have been really hard growing up with blindness?
Stevie - It was bad but it could have been worse
Reporter - How so?
Stevie - I could have been born black
Its also a fact he would scare visitors to death while driving them round his property all the time listening to instructions in his earpiece.
