some artists not displayed.

on my ipod, some artists aren't displayed in the artisits list, their songs appear in the songs list and in the album list. also i set a volume lock and forgot the password, anyway to reset without wiping ipod clean?

If you restore factory settings it'll remove the PIN on the volume lock.

For the other thing, try a restore, it should fix it.
