some big problems

Hi all, i've been having problems with new build since buying it last month. After 3 graphics cards i finally got one that didnt overheat within a minute. Performed a memtest and memory was fine. Anyway the blue screen of deaths started with a memory management message after a few days. I tested the memory and it came back with a few errors. So i moved the RAM into different slots, tested it again and everything was fine... for a few days. Now this morning i started getting the blue screens again with bad pool header message. Tested the memory again and there are hundreds of errors.

Where is this steming from? get the feeling there is something seriously wrong with some of the hardware.

cpu - phenom 2 550BE
motherboard - asus m4a77td PRO
Hard drive - spinpoint f3 500gb
psu - 500w modxstream
windows 7
4gb geil value ddr3 10666 1333mhz

all bios is as standard, have not touched it other than the boot from cd/HD option. No overclocking, wouldnt even know how to.

How can you tell if it is the motherboard or psu? if one item damages the others, can these be claimed/RMA'd. Everything i bought was from either here and one other site.

well i tried this. seemed to work ok for the hour before i left for work. got home tonight and it lasted 10 minutes before the bsod with a system something something message instead of the others i got.

any other suggestions?

i did my best to make sure i was earthed. didnt use straps though. the graphics card problem i dont think has any relation to this. i had 2 dodgy ones with the same problem from the same manufacturer. when i got one from another manufacturer it worked fine.

this problem though is really stressing me out cause i am totally lost with it and im not that technical with computers.

ok testing done over the weekend. results are as follows

RAM stick 1 of 2 - slots 1-4 no errors. Yay!!
RAM stick 2 of 2 - slot 1 36 errors in tests 2,3 and 4
slot 2 2 errors in test 6
slot 3 2 errors in test 4
slot 4 no errors

So why are there different errors in the different slots? and why when i memtest them 4 weeks ago when they were new, did it not show any errors? do they take time to show up? Do i RMA now?

cooling seems fine, the graphics card issue i believe was a manufacturing fault where the heatsink was never in full contact with the gpu. The first two were HIS (probably a faulty batch) then i gave up and tried the sapphire which worked fine straight away and still does. CPU temps are perfect also.

not something i really know anything about malc. I have my desktop up and running with the 2gb of error free memory, i have got pc probe up which came with my asus motherboard and all voltages appear fine

vcore - 1.33, 3.3v is 3.36v, 5v is 5.02v, 12v is 12.34v

what testing should i do with it? sorry im a newbie to this stuff.

i have downloaded it and am running it now with all default options. Not sure if i should have selected anything in particular??

ok so i have had the seemingly good RAM module under the prime95 blend stress test since this morning. Seems to be passing everything ok. Do i do other tests with this RAM or do i now try the dodgy RAM module?

put the other stick in on its own, windows didnt even start before a bsod stating fatal system error or something. Put the seemingly good one back in and its working fine again. Think we could have the answer, just a little spooked that it passed the tests originally, though saying that, i did get the odd memory management bsod once maybe twice before i done the original test. Has this been known to happen, that the memtest can miss errors?
