Anywho, I got a 75-300mm zoom telephoto a couple of weeks ago and decided to shoot a few birds. Here are a few of the best.

Nice shots, did you use unsharp mask on the last one? If so it looks a bit over done.

No just the standard CS2 sharpen after resizing. The jaggedness on the starlings side appeared when I resized it (if that is what you were pointing out). I did sharpen it before resizing (for the larger saved picture) so maybe that is where the jaggedness came from.

Edit. Are you sure its a female blackbird? Aren't the females brown?

Yep it is a female, I first thought it was a male too but my mum (who was in the garden too) corrected me. Then the next day the came together just to confirm it.

The bluetit just finished having a bath, typically in the only part of the pond I couldn't see, although its head did pop p a bit to see what I was doing.
