Why in this day and age do some motherboard models only support Crossfire and not SLI? I thought this had been sorted out years ago?
I think he means having the capability of both sli and cross fire. I think it is because nvidia and amd are not playing nice and its their way of keeping their own fans. Definitely a marketing scheme
I explained why in the post above yours. SLI needs at least 8x/8x slots. Cheaper boards have 16x/4x which is only enough for crossfire. Break through the £100 barrier and most boards support both.
