Some class and good air flow

Did you replace the front fan with an after-market one ? I thought they didn't fit because they were a tad deeper than the cosair ones ?
 
They do fit, you just move the hdd cage back and mount on the new bracket holes Corsair provide.

So did cutting out the fan grill and replacing the fan make a really significant difference ? I really like the look of this case and your pictures aren't helping :P
 
It might have made a tiny difference, I just cut it as I was curious!

My curiosity leads to expensive changes at times ¬_¬
 
Mrk, your 650d looks really nice, I have mine coming tomorrow and would like to ask, do you have an optical drive fitted? I cant really tell by the pic that you have, If you do how have you managed to keep the front face plate on the drive?

Btw, your shots of the 650d really show how impressive the case really looks with the ally front! :)
 
I have a USB DVDRW drive which I use when the need arises (maybe twice a year??!) so unfortunately I cannot assist you in your stealth drive adventures :p

Thanks for the feedback though, it's the best case I have owned yet and I've owned a number of cases from Lian-Li to Antec!

Thanks for the reply! I must admit I dont use my internal drive that much, so I may go the same route as yourself if I cant do a mod on the drive.

Glad you like your case so much, I cant wait to get mine tomorrow now and pack away my old CM690. :D. I will look at replacing the front fan like you have as I have heard that they dont shift a lot of air.

Just out of interest, H80 with 2 Noctua 120mm P fans?

What kind of temps do you see?

Also Zalman aftermarket cooler on GPU?

Ta :p 37-41 idle depending on the weather, 55~ under load. And yes, Noctua fans, the colour is brilliantly different!

GFX cooler is the stock one on the Asus GTX460 DirectCU Top edition though.
