A friend of mine wants a discovery budget around 2.5k as it has seven seats and she likes them.
She wants a TDI but I have advised her to get a petrol with LPG conversion.
Would it be fair to say that she will get a later one for her money and the running costs will be roughly the same.
Also she said well what if the V8 goes wrong surely it would be more expensive than the TDI to fix, I would have thought with the V8 being quite a simple engine to work on it would not be a worry.
Is there anything else she should know am I right or wrong to recommend the petrol.
