There's been a few displays down my way recently so i've been able to practice some firework shots! Thought i would share!!! Would also love to see everyone elses firework shots, go on I know you've all tried it! What tricks have people learnt?

My latest idea is using a grad filter to try and stop any lights on the ground from overexposing, mixed success but its letting me take slightly longer exposures now without blowing out lighted buildings, well most of the time it works.

great shots there mate. Think im going to be having a go at this on saturday. What settings did you use for them shots?

Cheers!

The settings varied quite a bit through the shoot, still a lot of practicing going on! I found f8-13 ISO400 on a bulb exposure (usually about 2-6s open) gave the best results for me.
