Ive never managed to catch transient light, i only went to the lakes with my D7100, Tamron 17-50mm and a polarizer and i think the polarizer really helped

I like these, particularly the black and white ones. DSC1655 is my fav, great sense of depth to it!

Nice work

I think 1 and two are a bit too flat, probably because it's the middle of the day? Composition is nice though.

The black and whites are lovely but I can't help feeling they need a bit more black, but then that is very much personal preference! The B&W's are really nice photos though, composition and exposure are good. I also like the movement you can just see in the stream in the last photo.

Ty for your feedback, I will look at increasing the contrast of the two top images, and I will see about those blacks
