Went for a bit of a walk this evening, needed some fresh air and whatnot.
The sky was doing nice things, but so were the sheep... One or the other, couldn't have both... Or could I?
Some dodgy ghosting in some of them due to long exposures and moving baaaahh's but they're OK for the best part.

I've batch processed these, because I'm feeling tired and lazy...

This one went really wrong - the light was fading muchos fast, and the camera wouldn't meter above 30 seconds. So while I was trying to bracket shots, my "overexposed" shot was actually darker than the rest :\
Oh, and I was finding MF a nightmare (AF? In this light! Ha!)

And on my way back. No HDR here, just a reallllyyyyy long exposure

Comments, critique and general rants about the price of haddock appreciated.

Where did you take those first 7? Chernobyl? That grass isnt that green in real life, no matter which side of the fence you are on!

I like #8 - in fact that is my favourite of the HDR set. Lots of texture, interesting feel to it despite the blatantly terrible blue halo around everything in the middle distance that sorta spoils it :(

The last shot is a cracker - one I would have on my wall no probs :)

Does it matter?

I prefer the 2nd barn shot, funky clouds. Obviously the last one's a cracker :)

Erk, fair point... It is rather over sat-u-raaatteedddd isn't it?
I just had a play with desaturating the grass some, and I prefer it :)

I know, I know :(
I fiddled for a while in Photomatix with that one, but had bizarre haloing (and some weird... What kinda looks like embossed effect) no matter what I tried :/

Mohain ~ Cheers :)

morgan ~ EXIF is kinda hard to give for HDR shots, as it's a merger of three exposures... No filters used, no.
As a general rule though:
F/8
ISO 400
exposures between 1/4 & 1"
focal lengths between 15mm & 30mm
