Some help and or advice please

If I change a mobo to a more up to date mobo and CPU it wont affect any visual settings within the operating system will it.....I'm thinking it wont ?

changing from an older Gigabyte mobo and a phenom cpu to this

its for the Mrs....all shes gonna be doing is FB , FB games documents and Email and alike, and to be honest I dont really wanna re-install windows.

It won't change any visual settings, but replacing the CPU/mobo without re-installing the OS can be very hit & miss. I've done it a couple of times - first time Windows wasn't happy, but I was able to get it working eventually. Second time Windows wouldn't install or repair....or anything.

well it now seems she has decided to stick with what she has lol ....and just go for a new case and a new cooler ..so i got her to get an AIO cooler and one of those nice Fractal Design Define R4 Midi Tower Case , plus this cooler
