and i think every thing else is at stock or auto
gonna have a read of the overclocking sticky just wondered your thoughts
thanks
ginge :D

You may wanter lower the volts on the vcore 1.5v on the 45mn cpu's without proper decent cooling will eventully kill the cpu. Ideally below 1.4v on air.

Now that being said, u may be able to bump up the fsb abit more then you are, as ur mobo is a P35 chipset, and on average they will hit 450+ some a lot more but not sure about urs. But you will have to up the North bridge volts abit as it will be running overspec. No more then 1.4/1.5 for the north bridge.

Also unless there is a reason you have lowered the multiplyer you can push that up abit, as the cpu has a 9.5 multi.

sorry for being vauge, my system at the min is stable runing fine :) temps r good as well
im basicly just wanting to overclock some more lol, ive tried lowering the vcore but it just bsod, havnt touched the north or south bride vols as i dnt really know what im doin lol its just pure luck that is stable now lol, before i have left the overclock as i said but uped the multi to 9 and got 3.8 but it failed on prime would uping the north bride help this?

What would be best, is to do a Google search on how to overclock your specific chip. As I own an i7, I can't really help you with overclocking your specific chip.

But for a start, lowering vcore on an overclock, will usually just make it unstable, depending on how high your overclock is, and what voltage it needs to make it stable :)

Like I say, every chip is different, so you need to find out how to overclock that specific chip, and then overclock your own chip from scratch. If you know what I mean :p

Like I said, go and Google for a guide on that CPU. I don't own your CPU, so I can't help totally. However, a guide on how to overclock your chip will help you learn :)

Go here that should help

so i have done some messin and reading couldnt get it to 3.8 so put it back to 3.6 put nbridge to 1.4 its at 425 x 8.5 and vcore is 1.5 put the ram at 5-5-5-15 sdid prime and got this.

dnt know how to add image but prime did
worker 1 did 257 tests in 5 hours no errors and no warnings

worker 2 did 76 tests in 1 hour 37 mins 1 error 0 warnings
said fatal error rounding was 0.5 expected less than 0.4 hardware failure detected

whats thias mean? sorry if its noobish
