Sorry if this is in the wrong place:
hey guys, recently bought Shogun 2 and i am experiencing some lag issues more so during battles which i guess everyone does but it does not matter what settings i have on or how many frames i am getting there is always this consistent lag. So for example i had unit size on medium and during a battle zoomed out i was getting between 40-60 but was lagging, and zoomed in during the battle i was getting like 20-40 and still lagging. So i lowered my settings to medium/low and obviously the fps where higher but was still lagging.
I know this game is CPU intensive more than the GPU so perhaps its my CPU this is something i have hoping to get to the bottom of before Rome 2 comes out. And also on Napoleon Total War it lags only when there are a lot of men grouped together.
My specs are:
Asus M5A78L/USB3
AMD FX-4100 Quad 3.6ghz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 1gig
Corsair 2x 4gb DDR3 1600mhz Dual Channel
Cooler Master Bronze GX 750W
Seagate Barracuda 1tb 7500rpm
now i have a pretty crap monitor which i play in 1360 x 768 resolution in vga mode could this contribute towards my issue?
Thanks for the help in advance.
