Yes as long as they match model and RAM capacity it'll work. With low end GPUs though I'd suggest you buy a better single one instead? Such as a 6970 or something.

I'd get this PSU:

or
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-019-CS

These will run pretty much any 2 GPUs you want!

ok thanks for your time i'll get it friday when i get paid the XFX 850W XXX Edition

but the gfx thing wont two hd 6870s be beter than one hd 6970

In my experience, I would go for a single powerful card.

I am currently using two 6870s and would change to one 6970 if offered. In Crossfire optimised games you will get a better frame rate, but if there isnt a CAP for the game then you can find yourself with issues. In my opinion, it just feels like hassle to me.

But, as you already have one 6870, it is probably it is probably your best option to crossfire. I bought my two 6870s together and have regretted it since.

hello again
one last question

will this card fit my g1 sniper 2 motherboard its a Asus ATI Radeon HD 6970 DirectCu II card

Just bear in mind that the DirectCu card is a triple slot model instead of a normal dual slot. If you have other cards in there like a sound card, usb card or whatever make sure you have enough space.

I think the only real way to get it to 7.8 is to have an SSD, or a RAID setup might do it. But it isn't really required.

WEI = ****. Max for HDDs is 5.9, and only way to get higher is with SSDs. I have the 2600K too and overclocking it only moved the score from 7.7 to 7.8! Ignore it and use some real benchmarking tools.

All voltages and temps look fine.
