The SSD will hold Win7 and say 4 games.

both my 250 and 500 drives are always full, i have 3 external hdds all 3 1tb each i buy a lot of games lol.. this setup is for BF3 and rage and a few others.

That setup will be smooth, the 2GB of ram the card has will make a big difference to the resolution and detail settings you can use while still remaining faster.

even the cpu i was going to get before comming here the AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1100T Black Edition 3.30GHz (Socket AM3)
the i5 2500K still laughs at it

also do you think its work getting a second card in about a months time or is it just a waste of money ?

2nd card is personal preference tbh. The card yer getting will eat anything you throw at it.

Get a second card a lot later when you think you may actually need it, you will find some cheap second hand ones about next year or the year after.

They don't have to be identical, just try and get the same ram amount and gpu core family (there are 1Gb and 2GB versions of the 6950) if one has different clock speeds the drivers will automatically slow the fastest to the speed of the slowest.

If you get a 2GB card with a 1GB card then the 2GB loses half of its RAM.

For example a 6870 and 6950 is no good. a 6950 and a 6970 is ok.

if i do decide to get a second card sometime i will get the same one..

can you recommend a good decent monitor, not sure if big is better. been using 1650x1050 for about 3 years now..
