I'm asking for some help with my spec again

finally my money came through i was waiting for to build my rig, i have bought a coupld of pieces already.

silverstone Fortress case
corsair TX750w power supply
and i got 6GB of OCZ 1333 goldplated ram.


i was gonna go for 12GB in total and was going to buy the overclocked i7 bundle found here.

but now im thinking il hold back on the 12GB to save me self a little cash and il buy the mobo and CPU and cooler seperate.

so what do you guys think? im gonna ahve a go at overclocking the processor, even though i ahve not done it b4. need to find a guide on it.

Have a look in the OC & Cooling forum here, there are several stickies regarding the basics and more advanced OC techniques, and there's a lot of info from others who've already trodden the i7 path.

thanks for the tip, il have a look there when i get my whole system.

one thing i am worried about though, is the CPU fan fitting in the case?

has anyone got a V8 in the silverstone fortress case.

the depth of the CPU fan is 161mm, and the case is only like just under 210mm wide?

be good if some has done it b4?
