I got Foobar as iTunes isn't really my cup of tea organisational wise but when I want to rip the CDs I have at home I don't get album/artist/track name, does foobar have a 3rd party plug in to get tracks?

I'm too lazy to input all the details myself. :p

I tried to use that but not quite sure how to use it... I think I'm just being retarded. :)

I tried just right clicking on the songs but no "tagging" option seems available.

Try re-running the foobar set-up making sure you install it, I think it's under optional components under a custom install.

I re-installed it with the freedb plug in and works brilliantly, thanks mate. :)

Edit - Don't use Freedb on Frank zappa songs lmao It does not come up with the right name.

FreeDB is garbage anyway, unless you don't mind inconsistent formatting and braindead spelling mistakes cluttering up your playlists (if you do, you'll often spend so long cleaning up the mess you might as well have entered the tags manually in the first place).

You might want to check out the foo_discogs plugin, or you could use MusicBrainz Picard for the initial tagging instead. There's also a MusicBrainz plugin for foobar2000, but it hasn't always worked 100% reliably in my experience (it occasionally confused different releases of the same album, even when they had a different track running order).
