Hey peeps. I'm looking for some advice about my overclock and voltages.

Yeah I know temps are a little high, waiting on some new fans for my H50 to arrive.

Now the problem is these voltages on auto. Anyone have an idea what they should roughly be set to manually?

Mobo is Asus P7P55D-E.

Thanks.

If its working as it is you can either leave it or if you want to start reducing them down slowly bit by bit n checking each time til it stops passing checks then go back up to last known good voltage

I have my core i3 530 overclocked to 4.3ghz on the lx version of your board, its ok to leave things on auto, but i have been told today that the imc needs to be manualy changed incase of overvolting, change your imc to 1.32 volts and then check in prime if its stable, if not bump it up abit more, i would keep the voltage of the imc near the voltage of your vcore tho, just because it seems everyone else overclocking on the p55 has near enough the same voltage for both.

i personaly wouldnt go over 1.37v on your vcore or imc. i can see your imc is at 1.384v.

just watch those temps! and you will be ok.

my advice, try lowering your imc.

Just an update.

I've been dropping the CPU Voltage. Gone from 1.4 - 1.35 - 1.3 - 1.25v

Just doing prime95 small FFTs stress, been passing for last 30-40mins so far.
