Some help with wireless connection please.

Hi guys,

i recieved my new Primo Ignition system this morning from overclockers and am very impressed with it so far.

just a quick question about connection to my router wirelessly. on my old desktop i had this usb adapter.

its a belkin high speed mode wireless g usb network adapter - f5d7051

and i could connect to the internet fine. now i have tried to use the same adapter on my new computer but not having any luck with connecting. is there something im missing with windows 7? i previously had xp so im new to this operating system.

any possible ideas would be great.

thanks for the tips, i have looked on belkins site and the drivers/software only seem to work with or at least are supported with xp/vista. think i may be time to get a new adapter then.

Any recommendations?

ah ok i would have used an overclocker link but there wasnt one ill remove now

thanks for the links to the wireless cards.

i know its not in stock but are these good? on most of them im reading that some people get great signal and others have trouble. is it just hit or miss with them, connection wise?

i guessed it would be hit or miss, i would have a wired connection in my room but as its the parents house they dont like the idea of me routing cables from downstairs through the ceiling into the rooms upstairs. so my only option is wireless. cant wait to get my own house lol
